The client software compresses and encrypts data before it is transmitted from your office or desktop. Only you know the encryption "key." The "key" can be any word or phrase, from 5 to 50 characters long. The key is not transmitted with the archive. Backed up archives cannot be viewed, decrypted or used in any way without the key.
